Though your intention is to help OP, there are certain things that need to be observed especially in this climate where there is lot of backlash against legal immigrants. We have to ensure that we do not provide any ammu to anti's with our comments.
For an employer to sponsor a foreign worker on H1B,
First of all, there needs to be a skilled worker position open and available in US and
2nd that there are no "qualified" US citizens are available to fill that position.
OP's post goes against both these conditions, Forget about the rest such as bad economy, survival etc.. as per law, Employer has to pack the H1B home if the position is knocked off with a flight ticket and a reasonable relocation.
No offense to any one but just calling for more caution as we have seen increased number of posts like these.

$ 745 is the total fee for I-485, I-131, I-765 & biometrics. Many people sent single check of $745 per application. It is weird to see that kind of rejection.

Where is the best place to learn Peoplesoft ? What is future scope of Peoplesoft ? Also where is a good place to learn SAP or Oracle Financials ?
Do local Univ or Community colleges - Computer Science or MIS departments offter these classes ? Does one need to learn C to learn these applications ?
My only prior programming experience is in Basic and Fortran languages eons ago.
A lot of Indian consulting companies offer training prior to marketing yoour resume. Check them out, some medium size ones, big ones have purchased training licences and fulltime trainers in ERP packages like Oracle Finaicials, Peoplesoft, Siebel etc... Though all these are now owned by Oracle.
A good way to enter IT as you have an MBA is try to get into Data warehousing. This woouldd involve a lot of Oracle traning and there are a lot of companies who give beefore they place you on projects. But remember that once you go through consulting companies, andd based on the fact they trained you and placed you, they will pay you a average deceent salary butwill charge the cllient tons of money and client would expect you to work for whhat he gives

As I last recall, Zoe Lofgreen had tried a similar bill 3 years ago (2008) that would have eliminated visa backlog, but we all know that bill went no where.
At this point in time, does this bill have the potential to bring aboard the change we all are seeking for so long? I hope it does. As this journey has been quiet long and tedious.

2008 was election year and we didnot have advocacy day month after bill was introduce. We were just month away from presidencial election. CIR was keeping hostage. Since Obama has talked about Legal High skilled immigrants in SOU , we got support from President and as usual many republicans support high skilled bills. Also some moderate dems support it.. so chances are better if we can push it for by summer.
as we have see as fall approach things are getting tough to pass through.we should make it for advocacy day and meet with our lawmakers with just single agenda. STEM bill.
Most of Eb2 ( Not all ) are qualified for STEM and may release up to 30k visas each year to EB3. that will clear Eb3 backlog in 1-2 years. Don't forget that we have some Eb3 people with STEM degree too.

My attorney says I can do so, I have asked him how.
Our corporate office handles all and I do not have any information about this. I hope my attorney is correct and I do not find myself in trouble after I change location.

I have a similar issue, Applied for a EAD that is expiring in Sep08 on June10th08, Got EAD approved from NSC on July7th and saw that the new EAD Card is valid from 01/01/08 to 01/01/09, so in effect its extended by 4 months.

US has been in number 1 in the past, moved to 2nd spot for a couple of years, in the world competitiveness rankings. For the first time, the US moved to the 6th Spot in the world rankings by the world economic forum (Europe based Institution). The main reason was because of the huge current account deficit and negative savings (mainly federal deficit) which is a threat to the US competitiveness. China moved down due to corruption etc. India moved up but any further movement will depend on structural reforms, especially controlling the huge public service and red-tape and a creaking infrastructure - power, roads, ports, water supply - all of which are run by the government. The health services in large parts of India is dismal and so is the public education system (K-12). With the left firmly controlling the ruling party, deregulation is slow and insipid, and it is the private sector which is basically contributing to the GDP and Competitiveness. Basically, you get 1 credit for a quarter of year, so 4 credits a year. If you have lived and worked 8 full years and 6 months for the year when you came and 6 months the year you depart from the country, you will,be fine. If it is true, how come the few person with old priority date (2002) is still waiting and some person with later priority date (2003,2004) got their GC..after Name check
RD is also not a reliable predictor since there are people who have been approved who applied for AOS in July 2007 while those who had applied prior to this are still waiting to see the light.

I have a long layover at New Delhi airport. I am reaching their at 8PM and my next flight in the morning at 7:30AM. Is there any accommodation facility within airport? Or Do i need to go to city? This is the first time, i am going through delhi airport. Any helpful comments are welcome. Thanks and appreciate your help.
There are so called 'executive lounges' in Mumbai airport. There is a good possibility of having them in Delhi Airport also. Check while you are waiting. They have people all over hawking these services. They charge around 30 to 50 USD per person.
I tried one in Mumbai airport. I paid the money, went to the shower and didnt find hotwater. When I checked they said "it is out of order"..So much for the executive lounge! I took my money back and came out!

I 140 and 485 filed concurrently.
Let's say I 140 is approved after 200 (greater than 180) days, If employer revokes I 140 after 230 days (let's say he is pissed off that i left the company using Ac 21 portability)
