Do remember that their is different receipt for 485, 131, 140 and 765 which means they need to generate more than 80K receipts for July 2nd filers only. I filed in late July. Looks I have to wait more
On aug 9 th, USCIS nebraska center issued a total of 4063 receipt nos for 485, EAD, and APs.

From this, if we assume ~4000/day, it ll take 20 working days to clear july 2nd filers (~80,000). My guess is by 31st Aug.

While we keep hearing the rhetoric about "H1B-only ads" by anti-immigrant groups, there is absolutely no news about thousands of "US Citizens only" or "US citizen or GC onl"y ads that we see every day.
While I understand there is a genuine case of 'Citizens Only' when it comes to jobs that involve national security, 98% of the job ads have nothing to do with national security and or government clearance. Most of these are clear and simple violations of Equal Employment Opportunity law, and hence illegal.
Since no one seems to be interested in reporting on this pervasive violation of law and illegal behavior, I have decided to start this thread to report on this highly-prevalent form of discrimination. I invite other members to post similar Job-ad E-mails on this thread (or open other threads) to highlight this issue. This will enable us to post the links whenever someone brings-up the issue of H1b-only Ads next trime. It might also enable members to report to EEOC in large numbers and/or shame the recruiters/employers from posting such blatantly discriminatory job ads.

Most of these companies are small sub-contractors , if such companies hire an H1b visa holder then have to disclose financial strength for the visa sponsorship, look at the hourly rate it is offering . dont worry my friend it is implicit that this company is not a big viable one

Simple reason USCIS will tell you/senator/judge/anyone who really seek the resolution of our loooooong delayed cases is.....case is in security/background/additional review checks.....so everyone will shut their mouth and forward this message to the concerned person.....

AFAIK all 485 filings have to be sent to NSC. Also, does one need to attach the original I-140 approval with I-485 or a copy of it will suffice?

zI have mentioned IV to a some Indians. They have no interest. Some of them are not bothered about retrogression. They exepect the GC to fall in their lap while they are sipping tea and eating samosa.
Also, it is hard to trust a mainly Indian set up. The Indian contracting companies have set a very shameless level. I told my friends that IV appears different but it is hard to change your opinion when you see something else 10 times a day.

How much visas did India get for the period October 1, 2004 to September 2005 (off the top of my head it was 50,000)
From October 2005 to September 2006 (it was around 10,500)
For the period October 2006 to September 2007 (someone want tofind it; it was more then 7%)
October 2007 to September 2008 (to be determined)
Department of State has been all over the place by changing their interpretation? btw; I doubt with visa movements the way they are that they are establishing country quota of 7%. If they were then that would mean there is only 2,800 people including dependents waiting for greencard in eb2 prior to April 2004.

Hi,
My Checks are encased on Saturday 09/15th. My Applications received nebraska on July 20th. Since My I-140 is from Texas, the case transferred to Texas.
Just Checks are cashed, not yet recieved any Receipt Notices yet.

SRC is always Texas , LIN is Nebraska. Also when you input the receipt number in USCIS case status website it tells you which center this application is with.
I understand that. What I wanted to know was what number you have? SRC or LIN? And also to confirm, if it was cashed by TSC? and not the case that it was cashed by NSC and then scheduled to be transfer to TSC?
