Please share your plan of getting employer to issue future employment letter
I shared mine - Dont know if that will work !
They have Milked me for 2.5 yrs and still they Milk me for another 9-10 months because my 140 was sent recently and you can't use any AC21 unless 140 is approved.
3.5 Years of Milking is not sufficient for them - they want more , YOU KNOW.

its not just this employer, many f____ employers have same issue they dont want to file 485 and atleast they are trying to delay the process as much as possible. They are fearing that the employees on L visas will have an oppurtunity to switch company if they get their GCs sooner.

Still Waiting !! 90 days reached, Received by R.Williams,on July 5th. Did any july 5th filers got receipts send to NSC and transferred to TSC.

just sent e-mail to ombudsman. I would encourage all of you to send e-mail regarding FP delay. it did help in getting receipt notices. Please do it for FP also.

Yup, kshitijnt you are right on target, we need to do some thing constructive and let our voices heard.
BECSufferer made it right heading...channel your anger.
My intention was more to think in right way and discourage potential -ve result bound strategies.
During presidential campaign there were all over promises on clearing backlogs, we can go on that basis and make a point of that.
One thing is clear if they like to stop outsourcing sure they have to encourage and stream line legal immigration they cannot stop or survive but cutting outsourcing as well leaving this legal immigration in limbo.
Besides what we can do at this juncture, keep our voices heard by contacting, writing letters.

Guys even H1B increases are not that bad. A lot of our spouses could get jobs on h1b if it was open just now. Ultimately isint that what we want? Both husband and wife working?
I know that it could have a possible effect on the EB but I think a LOT of our spouses could work if the H1B quota was available. I know atleast 2-3 such friends whose wives can easily get jobs if the H1B was open.
Provided you bypass those apps that consulting companies line up at the start of the year. This is what Microsoft/Intel etc are trying to counter. They are not getting enough of the H1Bs themselves.

My attorney just emailed me, she received receipt notices for 485, EAD and AP for both me and my wife.
My application was received on July 2nd 9:01 AM, if it matters it was signed by R Mickels. Also, there is no LUD change on my I140 application, so I guess LUD changes on I-140 mean nothing.
I have not seen the notices yet so I dont know what the notice dates are.

Finally we have decided to go back to India for good. I filed my EB3 in May 2003. Its going to be another 4 years to get the green card. When I went to India for vacation last December, we liked it over there & the economy is booming. There are all sorts of discussion regarding the Economic Gap/Politics/Corruption/Cleanliness. But we like it over there. Finally I will have an option to do something interesting. In US I was very much dependent on my monthly pay check and afraid to take even the slightest risk. I am also scared to use the AC21(Hey, thats the way I am). I am working with the same company for last 10 years, kinda stagnant in the last 4 years. In India, there are lots of choices, either to work for a sw company or start some business on my own. I think I will take the business route.
May be I can go there, earn well, send my son to US for college, do green card through him & come retire in US!!!

I am in the process of applying for EAD renewal. I have few questions:
On the I-765 form,
Q.11 if applied for EAD before , complete below.
But there is nothing below other than your signature and date. It does not ask you of previous EAD information. What does "complete below" means?
Q.16 The Eligibility here would (c) (9) for I-485 applications correct?
Where do I mail this application . My AOS is pending at TSC.

I absolutely agree with you. One of my cousin is unfortunately suffering in EB3 for years he is a MS and working for over 10 years, he has been trying to port to EB2...but his attorney flatly refused on grounds that the company doesn't need a advanced degree applicant for that position and they can't justify the same to USCIS and invite scrutiny especially in this economy.
Ofcourse porting is blessing for lawyers and it means greenbacks for them the more the better.

The only change for now is the delivery date - July 10th instead of 09th (FTD doesn't deliver on Mondays)

I promise I will contribute to IV also regularly... make the noise.. and make sure this thing is mentioned in the blogs too so if people miss it here they will read it there and respond...

Excellent Dude! .. that is what we need to do... youtube/google all the videos related to this campaign.... Few areas of improvements to be noted synchronization between visuals and the vocals... and it also ended abruptly..
