I think you will get in less than 2 years. It will not take 10 years. Hang on. Total GC process time from applying to labor to getting GC usually is 4 years. some unlucky people had to wait more than that. But more than 80% fall in to 4 year time line.

Thats not true. My PD is March 2005. When my PD comes, I have to apply for EAD whereas others will get GC. Oh such a screwed up system.

If a person isn't contributing money, isn't participating in state chapters, isn't going to any rally and his/her sole contribution is 'brilliant ideas' that get posted on the forums... only use he/she can be put to is inter-breeding donkeys and horses, like you said!

I second...no need to panic....let's start doing what they're doing on the last week of September if we don't get our receipts....just kidding...
I guess a well package application gets the nod for Receipting very fast while poorly package ones may face stricter scrutiny at the mailroom. Another thing, the mailing room is also sorting out applications to be retained at its service center and those that need to be transferred to other service centers.

They fwded the bundle to texax your receipts start with SRC not LIN.
My attorney actually filed directly with TSC. So all my case numbers starts with SRC.

My EAD renewal is pending as well - RD 6/18 - present EAD expiring on 9/25. I requested expediting processing on 8/13 and received a letter yesterday saying they are reviewing my request and will have a decision in 60 days : :rolleyes:
We CANNOT do any thing, when I called USCIS, IO said they can't do either.. wait for 60 days. BS
sparklinks - I got card production ordered email today and LUD on EAD cases online. I sent a request for inquiry thru immigration staff of my Senator (Sen. Kennedy - MA) three days ago. Not sure if that had any role to play in EAD approval.
Check your status and update as our cases were identical. I'll update details of duration of EAD renewal when I get physical cards.

The EB-2 category for Indian nationals has retrogressed four years and will be set at January 1, 2000 for applications received beginning June 1st. If you are from China, the backlog is five years less - February 15, 2005. And if you are from any other country in the world, there is no wait at all. I am really appalled that Congress allows such an unjust distribution methodology to remain the law. No country is permitted to claim more than 7% of the numbers in a green card category. It already does, if you have an approved I-140 based on your LC.
Not really..before PERM LC tooks 4-5 years and a lot of people got laid off at the end of 4th 5th year and lost everything...Years of exp is best. based on Intial LC is good too....Ultimately anyone with a masters + 2-3 yrs exp or bachelors with 4-5 yrs exp should not have to wait in queue. Their priority dates should be current...I still support the whole Company GC and not just a points based system

Wouldn't count on that too much. Check how many people came in on H-1B just prior to those years. Then look at the annual per-country quota.

May god give you the courage to handle the stress and resposibality you have now.
I keep trying to convince.."Did i realy read that posting or was it just a bad dream"..unfortunalty its not a dream..!!!
Do get it checked from well know doctors. Here is a youtube version of comenecement speach given by Steve Jobs. Even he was diagnized with cancer and he spent whole day thinking of his resposibality. But that evening the doctors realzied it was curable cancer and were in tears ..!!!

No I have no proof to substintiate that, but I have read it on few forums here and there, I live in a very small city in NY, I know atleast 15 people with their PD in early 2003, That tells me the extent of problem, how many would there be in NJ, CA, IL, TX, VA etc. The only relief would be people who would convert to EB2 and leave that space. Labor Substition was a devil which has created most of this problem as I can see there are hardly 15-20% original beneficiaries for these 2002-2003 Labors.
Are we sure that there are around 5-6k EB3 pending in the years 2002 and 2003. If thats true then it will take atleast 6 more years to process all the EB3's for 2002 and 2003 :(

Yes they may be by some people. But the rules of this forum state quite clearly, that cussing is NOT welcome. This website is often frequented by members of the Senate/Congress (not the actual lawmakers themselves ofcourse, but their support staff). Do we really want them to see "highly skilled professionals" cussing left and right on them? No.
Just because the IV moderators cannot moderate this forum 24/7 does not mean that we take advantage and post garbage on here

Application Sent on June 30th. Recd in NSC on July 2nd. I had applied only 485 at that time. Sent the other forms later with the Fedex receipt no. Waiting for EAD/AP receipt now!!
I saw a few receipts/EAD's come out for NSC filers iwth TSC I140 and seems like this has stopped a bit. I haven't seen a lot of these receipts in the last couple of days... whats going on at TSC??????????????????????????????????????
