Done. It correctly showed the representitive and the senators. But I am not sure it went. Particularly the screen of advacacy to send mail to 6 frineds kept on coming up. If I don't receive confirmations to my account, I will send once again. Or I will call them also.

I think what has happened here is that DOS was frustrated with the pace in which USCIS was processing applications. So in order to push them to work faster, they made all categories current. This strategy worked and USCIS approved 60,000 visa in 15 0r 20 or however many days.
Then USCIS communicated with DOS that annual quota has been exhausted and thus DOS published the revised bulletin.
My 2 cents.
but why in 15 days? They had upto Sept 2007 to use up those numbers. So they worked overtime to make sure they dont have to accept new applications. Can they atleast admit to that?

This is a superb idea. I am game for it. Someone in the DC Area will also need to coordiante press releases to media so there is coverage for this.

With this issue of priority date taking a back seat to notice date when dates are current :
While it is frustrating to the people with older priority dates (including me); it could very well be that USCIS is approving people with later priority dates sooner because its simply easier for them to do so. I really hope that this trend does not last beyond Aug-Sep. And in October, for EB2 - I, there is still a good likelihood that for people with priority dates < 2004, dates may still be current. So they can very well be approved from Oct onwards. So if I have to sacrifice a few months of waiting time to make sure visa numbers dont go wasted. I am prepared to do so.
Also it is very likely that people with older priority dates have a longer history in the US. So USCIS might need more time correlating all entry/exit time stamps, making sure we were in status all this while; but a person with 2006 priority date might have entered the US in 2005 & so less history to check.
Also there is the case where later priority dates were using PERM. since PERM was made to be less abusive than the previous LC process, maybe they take less time cross checking LC data.
It is unfair. So is life. Do I think a person with EB3 with priority date 2002 needs to wait 5 more years than a person with EB2 priority date 2006. No thats unfair as well.
Complaining issues such as this to the authorities will only make one thing clear - The current US immigration is full of such vagaries. It needs a clear & complete over haul. Thats not gonna happen soon.
For now, I think we just be satisfied with our EAD cards & AP & wait for the GC when it comes. It will be little less frustrating if we dont keep looking at immigration trackers.

US Healthcare system is for Profit, some medical facilities in US are exception, but if you see the overall Healthcare system it sucks and its all driven by insurance and big Pharmaceutical companies.

The EB-2 category for Indian nationals has retrogressed four years and will be set at January 1, 2000 for applications received beginning June 1st. If you are from China, the backlog is five years less - February 15, 2005. And if you are from any other country in the world, there is no wait at all. I am really appalled that Congress allows such an unjust distribution methodology to remain the law. No country is permitted to claim more than 7% of the numbers in a green card category. That means tiny countries like Andorra and Botswana get the same...

Looks like a long wait for us. Whether you are 2004 or 2007 there is no set period of time for getting GC's.
I think we need to fight this randomness and ineffeciency on part of the Govenrment.

Finished e-mailing to all the senators. Its easy than AILA website if you have google toolbar to fill in the addresses.
1.Use the Autofill feature in the google toolbar.
2.Put the mailing address in the autofill.
3.Then Select the Senator's contact page.
4.Press the autofill option on google toolbar.All the fields are populated
5.Cut and paste the letter in the message body.
